Privacy Policy

CraveLock ("we", "our", or "us") is built by Infinityplus. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

1. What we collect

CraveLock is designed to work primarily on-device. Here is what we collect and why:

• App usage data — which apps you choose to limit and for how long. This data stays entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
• Account information — if you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes only.
• Crash reports — anonymous crash and error data via Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs. This contains no personally identifiable information.
• Analytics — anonymous aggregate usage analytics (e.g. which features are used most) to improve the app. We do not track individual users.
• Waitlist email — if you join our Android waitlist, we collect your email address solely to notify you when the Android version launches.

2. What we do NOT collect

• We do not collect, read, or transmit the content of your messages, notifications, or any other app's data.
• We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.
• We do not use your data for advertising targeting.
• We do not track your location.

3. Screen Time & Family Controls (iOS)

CraveLock uses Apple's Screen Time API and Family Controls framework to implement app blocking. This is a system-level permission granted by you. The data managed through this framework (which apps are blocked, schedules) is stored locally on your device in Apple's secure enclave and is subject to Apple's own privacy policy. We cannot access this data remotely.

4. Screen Time & Usage Access (Android)

CraveLock requests Usage Access permission on Android to monitor which app is currently in the foreground. This is necessary to trigger the block screen when your set time limit is reached. This data is processed entirely on-device and is never sent anywhere.

5. In-app purchases

Purchase transactions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not store your payment information. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase was made.

6. Children's privacy

CraveLock is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Data retention

On-device usage data is retained until you uninstall the app or clear app data. Waitlist email addresses are deleted within 30 days of the Android launch notification being sent. Crash report data is retained for 90 days.

8. Your rights

You may request deletion of any personal data we hold about you at any time by emailing us at support@cravelockapp.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will notify users of material changes via an in-app notice or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
